Joining a community has two benefits.

1. Be listed as a community member on the people tab to help people find you and your posts, which is a big deal if you are here to share valuable information or promote something. And get access to occasional member only resources.
2. Have all new and active posts delivered to your SPOT so you can follow many discussions across all of your communities all from your SPOT.

Community members get more information and interaction.

Trader Dan insisted we use the friendly term friends even though some folks might use CoTradeCo more for business networking rather than casual online community. He said that if you can't call your business associates friends you are doing something wrong.

When you see someone you know, posting information you find useful, or who you think might be useful in the future for your personal or professional growth ask them to be your friend.

What can we do together?

With all these folks from specialized industries and hobbies we have products and services devoted to you.

Like any trading post we have our useful stuff for sale, but will be adding more ways for you to promote and sell your products and services. We are especially seeking inventors and new manufacturers for specialized industries seeking distribution on and off line.

We aren't just online. While based out of Southern California we are growing specialized affiliates and sales reps around the world. Some things are just to specialized to sell directly online. Contact Trader Dan or a sales rep for personal "real world" service.

While you are communicating, networking, or shopping we want to make sure the most important information for your interests and industry are at your fingertips. As you browse the site you will see contextual links to articles, information, and even other websites focused on what you are currently looking at. Just click the resources tab on most major sections.

This is where CoTradeCo becomes so much more than a trading post, community, or a store. Most stores just want to sell you stuff and only post enough information to market to you. Most communities are a bunch of noise and spam. CoTradeCo is like your personal resource center for what matters.

We are not some big greedy corporation. CoTradeCo and Trader Dan are just ordinary folks like you who want to grow personally and professionally, learn something new, meet interesting folks, hear great stories, and maybe make a few bucks along the way.

The trading post you see today is not the trading post you'll see tomorrow. Trader Dan has big plans and we've only just begun. What you see currently are only the basics.
