The 1090 has all the same great features of the 1080 HardBack, but the Pelican 1090 case will hold up to a 15” laptop.
Who said that protection does not match with elegance? With the 1090 Case, laptop owners can now feel secure while travelling… and proud of showing such a stylish case! Available in charcoal or black, the HardBack Case is a crush-proof, water resistant, heat and chemical-resistant case designed to fit perfectly in most soft messenger style bags, to protect 15-inch laptop models.
With Pelican’s trademarked “Dual Band” design, the 1090 Case presents a solid composite shell construction, and a strong anodized aluminium latch with stainless steel pins. It will also preserve your laptop with a shock-absorbing foam-moulded liner, or Pick ‘N’ Pluck™ foam. A tongue-and-groove lid construction, a polymer o-ring, and a built-in, automatic Gore-TEX pressure equalization valve, creates a water resistant seal (IP66), and makes it easier to open the case at any altitude. All these features make the 1090 Hardback Case a great option for keeping both, laptop and case, secure when drops or hard knocks happen… up to the harshest conditions!
