The 580 Sorb Stance™ is the first anti-fatigue mat designed specifically for combined use with a absorbent pad in industrial environment where pooling liquid can create a safety hazard, either from potential electrical shock or unnecessary personal exposure to harmful chemicals. Traditionally, absorbent pads are placed directly on the floor, or in a tray designed to hold them in place. Neither method offers much in the way of anti-fatigue ergonomic relief, and in extremely we applications provides little or no slip resistance.
The 580 Sorb Stance™, made from a 100% Nitrile rubber compound, is extremely resistant to chemicals, cutting fluids, oils, and greases commonly found where absorbent pads are used. This unique mat offer anti-fatigue relief to your employees utilizing a raised footing system design on
the underside of the mat that provides cushioning comfort and
aeration. Molded beveled borders allow for easy access onto and
off of the mat (also helping to prevent trips and falls, a leading cause of injury in the workplace), while a recessed top surface acts as a tray that
holds the sorbent pad and traps liquids. The tray top surface has
a series of molded pins that grip and hold the sorbent pad in place.
CoTradeCo offers Sorb Stance™ in several stock sizes that will
comfortably accommodate a standard 30" wide sorbent pad.
Sorb Stance™ can also be configured on-site for a variety of
custom sizes and unique workstation layouts, such as “L” shapes
utilizing incremental cut lines on the underside of the mat and
molded connectors.
