In our final moments in Boise, Idaho we witnessed an intense storm that featured golf ball size pieces of hail.
It was stunning. We thought only for a moment that damage might be done to the solar panels mounted on top of the Bus before we put all concern aside and ultimately embraced the storm for all its worth and enjoyed the heck out of it. We tested our own personal durability for such things which ultimately ended in us being bruised by the atmospheric attack.
The town stopped for a moment while people sought cover (exhibit A; the Vespa girl) and when it was over we heard countless remarks about the beauty of nature and the wonderful smells she produces. It was an extremely welcomed experience and it stamped a pleasant memory on our brains before our otherwise uneventful departure.
