This isn’t official, but considering the limited entries so far, Trader Dan and I both agree that this is the winning candidate as of this comment!

Who can beat needing Pelican protection from aliens for their laptop?

If you haven’t entered the contest yet, it’s not too late. We had a bumpy start due to back order complications and may even extend the contest.

To clarify, I said: Alien intervention will be hard to beat. Not that it isn’t a great story, and I like listening to Art Bell just like anybody else, but there might be some “real world” need for the case. Not that I’m saying aliens aren’t real either. I spend a lot of time looking up at the stars out here in the desert and often wonder and hope that alien craft will descend upon my little trading post, but it ain’t happened yet.

Great concept. We’ll see what other folks submit and have to say about the other submissions before I jump to make a decision. A little early for that don’t you think zoe?

I agree that it is yet too soon to say, but I am thrilled to be in the running and I look forward to seeing other participants and how the contest turns out.

Now, we all seem to understand that protection from aliens and their forces IS a worthy cause for Pelican to protect, I wonder, if someone else provides a winning-worthy entry, can I submit something else?
