I just posted the video for Wang Chung’s, Dance Hall Days and saw Men Without Hats in the related videos while I was getting the embed code and couldn’t stop myself from posting them.

The Safety Dance did something to me as a child (not necessarily good) and has become some kind of ongoing all purpose experiment in advanced punning and bad jokes in my life.

So everybody now, press play on the boombox (er, YouTube video) and step away from your desks. It is time to dance. Because we can dance if we want to.

What character in ANY John Hughes film is closest to your personality (mash characters if necessary). I would be a mashup of Keith Nelson from Some Kind of Wonderful and John Bender AND Allison Reynolds from The Breakfast Club.
