In a recent post Etch-a-Sketch art: artform and cottage industry I discussed the ongoing Etch-a-Sketch phenomena.
In the embedded video from YouTube above we see a 2006 Siggraph audience at the Electronic Theatre screening experiencing a somewhat hilarious Etch-a-Sketch exprience. On the worlds largest Etch-a-Sketch (sadly a digital version, not a 30 foot plastic version) an entire audience took control using fancy-shmancy 2 sided transmitting wands. One side of the wand controlled the horizontal on one, vertical the other. Then folks on each side of the room were given control of the closes knob and they were instructed to draw shapes that were overlayed on the screen.
