18 days: To gift card or not to gift card?

Ok it is December 6th. No big deal just another day! Until sometime late this afternoon when I realized that there is only 18 days till Christmas. How oh How does this happen to me??

I am really not a big shopper (except for shoes) so the thought of having to shop and wrap almost sent me into a state of panic. By the way I also have not done cards yet either. ( thanks Patty my wonderful neice in Florida whom I received my very first card from today.) And yes that is what started the panic attack!!

Ok I know im rambling. My 2 questions are as follows:

1. If I do gift cards is that horrible???
2. Am I the only one who is in this boat????

Please send help quick. I only have 18 days!!!
