Well, we have not yet named our beautiful Camper Bus (bad luck perhaps? I dunno) but she is finally ready to set sail on her maiden voyage. Well, recycled maiden voyage, I suppose, she is a 1972 after all.

The wind is blowing strong and we are certainly headed somewhere. Something in us wants to raise the ol’ skull and crossbones flag and fire ye cannons off and hang me tallywacker overboard for all to admire. maybe I take my analogy too far…

We were filled with feelings of wonderment over being ready and heading out into the world, finally.

An odd occurrence happened strait away. Nothing to take heed over, but it caused us to start our journey giggling our heads off. While pulling out of the driveway, we engaged the GPS device so we could begin tracking our mileage and whereaboutS. Almost immediately Mr. Map began panicking and launched into a monologue of … turn left!! Go back!! Your destination is 50 yards in the opposite direction! Curios, that.
