After a month long of preparations leading up to the commencement of our up and coming travels in our VW Bus, we had a very important and symbolic task at hand. Smashing the alarm clock to shreds! Ah, you can’t imagine the joy that was extracted from throwing, kicking and twisting around with the ball of my foot on the smallest and most tender parts of the inner workings of the devise that disturbed my sleep and jerked me into the reality that it was time to get up and go to work everyday for the last decade or so.
