Franchise, Intro and Thoughts on the 2nd half of MLB.
FRANCHISE 2010-07-15 03:40:00 UTC

Whats up guys? Wanted to get this first post up. I had a decent first half of the season. Going 66-54 for +23.1 units. But by no means am I satisfied with that. I know I can and will do better. I make my plays based on a standard 1-3 unit scale. I really like putting out leans and thoughts the night before after the lines come out for Baseball. I go through the card on average 3 times before I put a play out. Line movement plays a big part in my capping, but does not force me to make a play or to get off of one.

What I want everyone to know about me. That is you get honesty and trust. I believe you get back what you put into things. So if you have any questions feel free to ask me, and I’ll do my best to answer them. I love having dialogue to get things solved.

On to the Baseball card:
Texas @ Boston- The Redsox’s are hurting. 8 players on the injury report. Wakefield will take the mound for them who is struggling this year going 3-7 with an era of 5.22. Against the Rangers he is 7-10 with an era of 6.13. His counter part is Tommy Hunter. Hunter is 5-0 with an era of 2.34. He did have his worst outing last time out. But the guy only gave up 3 earned runs on 7 hits. Against boston he’s 1-1 with an 11.73 era. With all of the damage done in that terrible 2nd start of his career.
Got a slight lean to Texas here.

CWS @ Minnesota- We got two teams going in opposite directions. The Whitesox are 9-1 in their last 10. While the Twins are 3-7. Danks is coming off a complete game giving up only 2 hits. Slowey is a real question mark here. Is his ankle truely healed? He did have a great relief appearence for 2 perfect innings.
Both guys have had matchup problems facing these teams. Both guys are below .500 and have allowed over .300 hitting. But with the health of Slowey and the way Danks and the Whitesox’s are playing right now I’m leaning that way.

Dodgers @ St. Louis- Kershaw vs. Carpenter. Both guys have been dominating in this series. Both having era’s at 2.3 and whips of 1.100. But in Carpenters last 3 starts he is 0-2 with an 7.87 era and a whip of 2.0. Kershaw is 2-0 with a 1.74 era and .822 whip. Batters are hitting .244 off of Carpenter and .204 off of Kershaw.
Also the Card’s are 13-18 against teams with a winning record. I’m leaning to the dog here.

Milwaukee @ Atlanta- Lean to Atlanta but the value is already long gone.

Philly @ Cubs- Lean to the Cubs. But really dont have the faith to lay money on them right now.

Mets @ Giants- no leans right now.
