Colorado Leeds CESR Program: Business Leaders Share Ethical Dilemmas in Leadership Course
beingzoe 6 months ago |

Donna Sockell, director of the Curriculum Emphasis on Social Responsibility, covers some of the specifics of the program and issues that students confront, and maybe we all should.

Issues like:

  • Demystifying executives
  • Handling top performers whose behavior outside of work is questionable, possibly illegal
  • Board demanding layoffs and how to deal with it as a public company
  • How to stand up for your own values in the face of opposition within the company

The topics are so poignant and vital that guest executives who participate in the program have often taken presentations made by students back to their companies for further discussion.
