Leeds Project Fair: Introduction to the program
beingzoe over 2 years ago

Jim Marlatt, senior instructor at Colorado Leeds school of business , describes the role and purpose of the annual Leeds Project Fair .

Through the Leeds Project Fair Jim Marlatt plays matchmaker, bringing students together with a dozen or more companies with opportunities for the students to showcase their skills.

These are projects that companies may not have enough resources or expertise to address, such as market research, new product development, product promotion, web site design, supply chain audits and process improvement. Sometimes, these projects lead to jobs.

It’s a win-win: students gain practical experience and put to work their business education in a real-world, dynamic setting, while businesses get quality results and a first glance at potential new hires.
