Fridge temperatures vary from 35 degrees up to 59 degrees. Safe handling for most food is 40 degrees. So you want to make sure that you store the right things in the right place.

That is so fascinating. I never really thought about that way. I was aware that the fridge was different temperatures in different parts but I didn’t think it was enough to make that much of a difference. I will always just tell Trader Dan to keep the door shut until he knows what he wants!
