Do city planners, city workers, council people, etc… play city simulation games?

Personally I love playing SimCity and games like Caesar IV, and have recently been looking into picking up a copy of CityLife. There are tons of these types of games out there. But I always wondered if people who are involved with the real operations and planning of a city every play.
