Yeah. Apparently no one can produce a law that says wage earners pay income tax. There’s a law for capital gains income, but no wage law. It just doesn’t exist apparently. Can anyone find it?
I’m just not sure what to make of this. The woman juror makes such a convincing argument based on the facts we see in the clip, but how CAN this be true? Keep us posted.

Thank you so much for posting this. I love/hate this story. The documentary this comes from Aaron Russo’s, America: Freedom to Fascism and is actually a pretty eye opening (or at least head scratching) watch.
The documentary covers the legality and utility of the Federal Reserve System, Fiat currency, and income tax in the U.S.
You can watch it at Google Video but you should buy a copy for $9.95 at Aaron’s site
And to answer your question Gen, I think that there is no law, but because the government started collecting income tax, nobody said anything, and we have been doing it for so long it is a de facto law which has been enforced by the courts with or without any legal basis to do so.
Anyway, I don’t really know what I am talking about except from crazy documentaries like this one. But it makes you crazy once you start thinking too much about it.
