Ghostly prankster, lucky drunk, or well calculated stunt pulled on or by the Garden City police department for fun? You decide.

It bums me out seeing something like this and not being able to find any more info about it. There are a lot of discussions on the internet about it, but no more info about the resulting investigation or other news stories. Heck, even Snopes has no listing for this except in their forum .

I visited the Garden City Police Department website (here or here) hoping they would at least have some amusing thing to say about the incident, I mean really this was on CourtTV. It seems as though this would be worth mentioning on their website. There was no mention of it, but they did have safety tips and warnings for Halloween October 25 , 2006. So maybe they are just behind on updating their website.

I’m going with the whole thing being a clever viral video stunt by the Garden City PD in conjunction with Garden City government to increase local tourism. Brilliant actually, as I will definitely be heading to Garden City on my next coast to coast roadside attraction tour.
