I remembered you were saying you wanted a Pelican for your Telrad.
I wasn’t sure if you would want a little extra space for some of your tools or what, but the 1200 Pelican should fit the Telrad perfectly and still leave a little bit of room for a speed wrench and batteries (custom fit with the pick and pluck foam). I’ll get exact measurements to see what kind of perfect fit we can get.
The 1200 is only 33 bucks and there would be no shipping for you since you are in Southern California.
Hope this helps. You’d definitely be the coolest kid at the show with a bad ass case like that to keep your Telrad safe!

I looked up the 1200 and the inside dimensions are 9.25” X 7.12” X 4.12” and you might want to consider the 1300 which is 10.62”X9.68”X6.87” with Pluck Foam. This would allow you to custom size the insert to your unit adding extra protection. Check it out under Pelican Cases.

Oh when I was looking up specs for the Telrad sight I found this cool page with a little history of the Telrad for its original use with Telescopes .
For the non-stagehand folks out there, the Telrad has become the defacto standard for sighting pickups using a spot light for theater and other live venues. You just mount the telrad on the side, use the three adjustment dials on the back to line up with the spot light and you’ve got perfect pick ups every time.
Using a Telrad is a major advancement over doing sighting manually or using the “coat hangar” method (creating an old fashioned gun type sight by fashioning two loops and mounting the hangar pieces to the spotlight and bending it into place). Though the Telrad requires less traditional skill, it nearly guarantees a perfect pickup even in black out.
