We’ve avoided visiting family in New Jersey during the winter for years as we hate the cold weather. Last Thursday we flew back for a long Thanksgiving Holiday with family and friends expecting that the weather would be in the mid 50’s. When we landed it was 31 degrees and it hasn’t hit 40 in four days. Yesterday the wind chill was in the single digits and the wind was blowing 35mph. Every time we call back to someone in California all they say is how warm and nice it is. So far I’ve purchased a ton of warm clothing that after this week we will not need, how smart is that? Keep the warm weather on tap until next Tuesday when we return as we’ll need it to thaw our bodies out. Dan
You will be happy to know, we now have rain in the forecast in So. Cal! Starting Tuesday afternoon going through Wednesday and then starting back again on Friday and Saturday! Hopefully we will be done with that before you get back. It will be kinda nice on Thanksgiving day to not have to run the A/C, while the turkey is in the oven:) Have fun!!!!
It’s cold here, but not that cold, although there is frost in the morning. HOWEVER, it is 81 in Honolulu, which is where I will be sitting when you return to California!

Enjoy Jersey and Thanksgiving. Good luck with the temperatures.
You can donate those clothes to some charities!
