Good Luck in the marathon UK Case Lady! (NSFW)
beingzoe 8 months ago | 6 responses     Subscribe Sports & Leisure Other sports talk

I just wanted to wish our very own UK Case Lady luck this weekend in the Baltimore Marathon. In honor of her feat I present the above video and wish her both speed and stamina! :)

I just went to the Baltimore Marathon website and discovered that they are using cutting edge disposable (not very green friendly but we’ll look the other way for the Case Lady) D-tag timing tag and thus we will be able to track the Case Lady’s progress during the race! Hmmm, I wonder if it will show names or just the timing tag number.

Anyway good luck Case Lady

Woohoo! I think she finished! Here are the stats when I looked it up at 4:24p:

Arianna Georgi

  • Chip Time: 4:35:58
  • Clock Time: 4:37:54
  • Overall Place: 1,794
  • Female Place: 577
  • Division Place: 166

Congratulations Case Lady! I couldn’t run to the end of the block ;)

Even if being chased I am not sure I could, or would run, which is why I carry a cell phone in hand to dial 911 in case of emergency.
Way to go Case Lady, CoTradeco has an official athlete!

Hi All!
I am back and VERY sore! The race went really, really well. I had been worried because it’s been so darn hot here in San Diego and training all summer was a real challenge, but I actually got my best time ever (My old time was 4:38:53, so not by a ton, but still…)
I am relieved to be done with all the intense running for a little bit, since it really takes away from being able to do the biking, hiking, swimming I also like to do. I am taking a break and just having fun until January!
Next up, the Oceanside Half Ironman in April and the Seattle Rock and Roll Marathon in June!
Case Lady!

Did you just fly out after work Friday and come back in time to work on Monday? Geez, that’s commitment! I just figured that you’d be on vacation for a couple of days.

Hey, if you are ever in need of a mountain biking partner I’m always looking for people to ride with. Frankly I’m kinda outta practice, and subsequently outta shape, and could really use the extra motivation. You’ve definitely got the motivation and discipline. Honestly I am impressed with anybody who runs a marathon. Congratulations again, and welcome back.

I actually left on Thursday and was back in on Monday, so I did have two days of vacation mixed in there!

I don’t really have any experience Mountain Biking (I have a road bike), but I was actually wanting to give it a try. I was trying to get someone to do Muddy Buddy with me before it sold out which would have involved getting out there for at least a few miles ;-)

About posting to community blogs

Post anything. Talk about work, life, or play. Get and give advice and tips. This is a trading post so feel free to promote yourself, projects, or your business (just don't spam!).

You need a SPOT to post new discussions on the community blog and comment on other people's posts.

Some folks call it a blog, a forum, or questions and answers. Trader Dan is old fashioned and thinks of it as folks talking and having a good time.

The only real rules are NO SPAM, don't be rude, and indicate if your post is NSFW. These things tend to peeve Trader Dan no end. Promoting yourself is okay if it is meaningful to the community, but limit yourself or you will be deleted. Controversy is okay, but hate, flaming, and jerks are not.
