I think this is sort of cool: Google, in honor of their 10th anniversery has posted their search index from 2001:

It’s pretty neat to Google things in the year 2001 and see what shows up…for instance in 2001 Paris Hilton was barely a blip on our cutural radar. Ah, happier times.

Wow that is so cool. I was able to search for a website of mine that is long since gone! Amazing!

I love the internet.

Wow, that is so cool! (yes, I am parroting zoe, but it is my true first response, so what are you going to do!?)

I searched September 11th and a bunch of other crap….neat-o!

Man, I love the internet too! AND, I love Google! Gmail launched a new lab; Mail Goggles! The idea is to be able to avoid sending late-night, drunken emails that you might regret in the morning! Oh, if only the phone companies would impose something similar for all thoses drunken dialers!

Anyhow, you arrange your settings, when you are sober of course, so that during certain hours (11pm – 4am on Friday and Saturday nights is the default setting) on any give night, when you hit ‘send’ to put that potentially dangerous email out, you are first asked a series of Math questions that range in difficulty on a scale of 1 – 5.
In addition, you must answer the questions in a very short amount of time! Whew…

I tried it last night, for fun, while stone cold sober and it was super fun!

Genius, I say.
