Blowdryers and Wildcat googles

As crazy as this may sound, I have found another use for the Wildcat goggle. Some may laugh but this is a true story!! Last week in a rush to get out the door I had the blow dryer in my left hand and the round brush in my right. (I was trying to straighten out my curly hair at least in the front!!) Well it seems in my rush, my round brush (natural boar bristle) got way to close to my right eye and brushed my eye vs grabbing my bangs. I managed to brush about 1/3 of my cornea. Not something I would recommend!! After spending the last few days in the dark per the Dr’s orders and a few days on pain pills my new solution is from now on when I blow dry my hair, I will wear my goggles! They are vented so this should help with the heat and humidity!! Not a pretty picture, but it beats going through that again!! The Doctor told me this is a fairly common accident, I am not sure if he was just trying to make me feel better or if this is true. I would sure feel better if others would share there stories!!!

Are you sure that you were in a rush or is there a whole other story to tell about beer goggles???

I love you Stacy! That is a hilarious (and unfortunate ;) story.

Are you referring to the Wildcat Splash goggles or the Wildcat Cutting goggles ?

Either way, I think you should go with the JP-150 Cutting Goggle , the WR-40 Cutting Goggle or the WR-600 Cutting Goggles all of which come in lovely shades of pink and lavender!

Thanks Zoe! I was considering the http://cotradeco.com/products/271-new-wildcat-splash-goggles. They are advertised to not melt, drip or ignite @ 350 degrees for 5 min. I figured at least I would not catch them on fire while I am blow drying my hair. But I really like the idea of having something in a shade of pink or lavender!!

Jackson, as for your comment, wait till I see you in person. (now that I can see again)
