Talkin’ up a storm about the Pelican 8060 at CandlePowerForums! Thanks for the links!

For anybody who wants to know about lighting, and flashlights in particular I wanted to recommend (besides visiting CoTradeCo of course ;) the folks over at CandlePowerForums

We first learned about them when we saw some traffic coming from there where folks were debating the then forthcoming Pelican 8060 in the forum thread New Pelican 8060

One fellow linked to our product page, then someone else linked to our comparison photo between the 7060 and the 8060 and we’ve sold at least one Pelican 8060 to leprechaun414 who said in that thread:

Very nice people to deal with. I paid $155 with free shipping, I think either pelican is offering that or this company is offering the free shipping.

To clarify we generally offer free shipping in Southern California and to individuals who work in Law Enforcement, Fire, and the military. This is a trading post after all and we are into wheelin’ and dealin’, but we still gotta make a buck! ;)

But we wanted to thank the folks for linking to us and having a kindly word for us. I’ve signed up on their forum and might be jumping in from time to time over there as well. And we especially wanted to thank leprechaun414 for his link!

We’re currently looking into carrying a lot more brands of flashlights here the trading post, and as we decide which vendors to add to our store catalog and you can bet we’ll be consulting the CandlePowerForums to learn more about what folks need and think about the various brands and lights out there. And we would recommend anybody who needed more advice than we’ve got here, to head on over and check ’em out!
