I took this picture of this rock art in a cave using a pelican 7060 Led LAPD flashlight as the light source.
Zoe: The cave is yellow sandstone with yellow pigmentand the figures are red. The Cave is some where in the desert. Too many ancient rock art sites are vandqalized or some one tries to steal the pannel. So if you will pardon me I will not publicize its location more than that.
That’s fine, and I completely understand and agree. I didn’t even think about that.
Though it is extremely frustrating that people can be so destructive with precious bits of history. Grrr.
I envy the time you spend in nature Dave.

Wow, I find the Pelican 7060 has a much whiter light than your image suggests. Am I mistaken? That light looks very yellow.
Where was this cave by the way?
