About posting contests at CoTradeCo

Many contests are legitimate promotions and fund-raisers for companies, services, and even non-profit organizations. We want to be able to provide a forum to promote your contest as other sites have allowed us to promote ours.

That said, we have created a special community blog CONTEST topic in the POTLUCK community. This is the ONLY COMMUNITY AND TOPIC WHERE CONTESTS MAY BE POSTED.

Post your contests in the Potluck Contest topic ONLY! Contests posted in other community blog topics may be moved to this topic or deleted. We reserve the right to disallow and delete contest posts at our discretion if we feel they do not follow the general intention of the CoTradeCo trading post and are generally not of value to our community members. Under no circumstances may more than one post be made for a particular contest. If you are posting for a contest that repeats every month, you may either delete the original contest post and repost a new one (no more than once a month) or you may edit the original contest post with the updated information. This special contest topic and these rules are temporary and may change at any time while we evaluate our policies on posting contests.

We appreciate your understanding and compliance with these rules. CoTradeCo is building a useful and valuable community and resource library which includes people and organizations promoting themselves. There is a big difference self-promotion and SPAM. We will be monitoring contest posts closely and thank you for your cooperation.
