Howdy there folks. As my headline states, my name is Milo Plurnbottom. I am the Editor-in-chief here at CoTradeCo. My job is to write all the copy for the products, report on news for the communities, research and write original resource articles for our resource library and trading post, and generally moderate all the stuff you folks are submitting.

It was quite a few years ago when I got into the newspaper business. Let’s just say it was before the internet and how things have changed. The thing I miss most about the old days is the clickety-clak of an honest to goodness typewriter. I’ve tried to find a decent computer keyboard with the same satisfying clicking noise and firm resistance, but alas, all modern keyboards seem to be made of mush. But I digress.

Trader Dan and I go way back. I remember I was working on a little newspaper out on the plains, and in comes Trader Dan seeking ad space for a bazaar he was hosting that weekend. The whole thing was a smashing success, him with his mobile trading post setup right next to the traveling circus, with goods from around the world. Where ever Trader Dan was it felt like the World’s Fair.

Years passed and I eventually stumbled onto Dan’s Trading Post out in the desert while en route to a Newspaper conference. We yakked it up about old times over an amazing dinner with his wife Bobbie and their tech guy Gizmo. They started talking about this crazy online trading post idea, and I was hooked from the get-go. So here we are, only a couple of months into the whole thing, and I’m just now setting up my own profile. Things have so busy, trying to get the entire inventory of the Trading Post online, and writing and finding original resources to help folks with all this stuff.
