Embed content from more sites, like VideoJug and Vimeo

We have added new sites you can embed content from, though we appear to be having problems with some of them.

Currently you can embed content from the following sites:

  • YouTube
  • SlideShare
  • Jib-Jab
  • VideoJug
  • Vimeo
  • imeem (works fine but not all audio playlists play whole song).

These have been tested and confirmed working. The list below are a few more sites we have added but are having problems with. The following sites embed codes tested fine on our development server but are not working on the production server, but we will be getting these working shortly. If you are attempting to embed content from the following sites and experiencing difficulties please leave a comment here.

  • CollegeHumor
  • MetaCafe

If there are sites out there that you would like to be able to share/embed content from just let us know and we’ll get it added to the list of approved sharing sites. We are also always looking for your input on other features that would help make CoTradeCo better and more useful for you. Some folks call it a blog, a forum, or questions and answers. Trader Dan is old fashioned and thinks of it as folks talking and having a good time.

The only real rules are NO SPAM, don't be rude, and indicate if your post is NSFW. These things tend to peeve Trader Dan no end. Promoting yourself is okay if it is meaningful to the community, but limit yourself or you will be deleted. Controversy is okay, but hate, flaming, and jerks are not.
