Good Morning Fellas,

BOS had a bunch of chances to blow last nights game out of the water. They left the bases loaded a couple times. The score should have been something like 13-4.
Well, I expect the same today. Lester owns BAL. The last time Liz faced off against BOS he got rocked for 8 runs in 2 inn. With Dice-K pitching tomorrow, this is going to be an easy sweep for BOS. Final Score 10-2.

BOS (RL -140) POD

PHY (RL -135) Hamels will shut down WAS, and Lannan will bring WAS back down to earth. Their 7 game win streak ends tonight.

SF (RL -130) When Lincecum is on the mound, I have to put money on him. He has to be one of the top 3 pitchers right now. Lee and Sabathia are right there with him. I expect the same result the last time Hernandez and Lincecum faced off. 4-1 SF.

Good day again yesterday. Went pretty large on Fres St. TSB’s – good call again. Holiday was not bad Mike. Was with lots of family and actually watched a few games. Here is my card today:

SF & Colorado under 9.5 runs POD SF aint gonna score 7 runs by themselves and Lincecum has been the most consistent pitcher in baseball next to Cliff Lee this season.

TD, careful with WAS today. They’ve been riding on cloud 9 and are due for a big loss. I played WAS about 3 times during they’re 7 game win streak, but today, all signs point to PHY. WAS will not be able to keep it close.

very fishy day on the MLB board. My book is only showing an $8 gap between his fav and dawgs, when it is usually $20. In fact, the only game with a normal gap is BOS/BAL where the line currently shows -250/+230.

I wouldn’t bet vs the Nattys yet, wait until they cool down.

TB is not a lock today at all. I love the line but Garza has had trouble vs NYY. Tread carefully.

It hit for me last night at +160 and it could do so again: SEA +155 vs TEX. SEA has won 8 of 10 and Arlington will keep the bats hot. TEX will continue to show its horrible pitching for all to see; SEA hit the over by itself last night.

The answer to that question is BOTH. THe “sharps” bet the lines the moment they come out, since they already know when a “mistake” has been made. Then, the morning of the game, you can hit it again, or get out of what you originally put in. THat’s why it’s VITAL to follow the lines from the moment they are released.

Crotch, I wouldn’t be surprised to see MIL take the division from the Cubs down the stretch. The Cubs offense is not clicking the way it was a month ago, and The Brewers are just chugging away ever since they picked up CC.

I appreciate it but they should have won that game yesterday. We really needed it. I’m just hoping for a reversal of last year when the Brewers blew it down the stretch. At least the Wild Card is a lock. But I would not be surprised either to see a division winner. You say that a month ago I would have laughed but all the away games for the cubs may catch up to them. Either way to see them in the playoffs for the 1st time since I was 5 would be awesome for me. They seriously have what it takes to win it all. Bullpen is rough but if they just call on the guys they should it will be ok. Especially when the starters (even Bush and Sup) are going into the 7th inning and later. Plus it would make me so happy to talk constant shit to all my friends that ripped me up and down during the last Cub/Brewers series. Last 3 or 4 are against each other and hopefully it comes down to that. Ok I’m rambling.

NickMoney – Nice to see you posting on the site man! Out of the two, I am a huge Pitt fan, and that is a scary opening game for them. Houston will be trying to light up the D backs on Pitt, which have been shady at best for the last 5 years. Pitt defense has a few injuries to start the season as well. The public is POUNDING pittsburgh at about 3-1 ratio, yet the line sits at 6.5. Almost like Vegas is baiting you into taking Pitt. I don’t know if playing them at all even in a teaser is worth it. I am not sold the other way either, just giving my general thought on the game…

Crotch – I would love to see the Angels play the Brewers in the series. Anytime I can watch my team get a 4 game sweep of the world series is a good thing! Plus I want to see John Lackey beat the crap out of Prince…

tsb scott- i heard houston may be a serious sleeper team this year however i cant see pitt losing the home opener and while the texans have an incredible front 4 with ryans in the middle is good but pitt can pass on there corners and have a shot at moving the ball against them but houstons offense can do the same so now you got me thinking so ill have to see what else may be better

tsb mike- i agree about the teasers ill usually tease a game like tennessee or atlanta where they dont score alot but some of these lines are perfected its pretty scary and i dont touch the 3.5 line because id say 9 out of the ten times ill lose by that half point

I don’t want to see Pitt lose their home opener! Scary opening game though. Personally, I would have rather them play a division opponent to open the year rather than more of an unknown team to them. Funny that Houston and Pitt are in different divisions… I miss the Oilers. Where is Warren Moon now?
