The Oklahoma Sooners are my #4 team in the Country. This team is locked and loaded. They have no weakness. They are loaded on both sides of the ball. They return 15 starters, 9 of which on offense. The coaching staff is led by Bob Stoops, who is one of the best coaches and recruiters in the land. He is on a mission this year, since some critics of his are getting louder and louder asking for his dismissal.

The Sooners are led by Sam Bradford at QB. This kid is only a sophomore, and all he did was earn Freshman All America last year. He is on the short list for the Heisman Tropy this year. Combine Bradford, with the best offensive line in the country, and you can’t help but be successful. The Sooners know who they are, and they get it done every single game. Whether they choose to smash the ball up the middle, or play out of their 3 wide pro set, they get it done. This team returns 9 starters, so they are a veteran group that knows how to score touchdowns.

Every year, Oklahoma fields a scary defense. This year is no different, as they return 6 starters. They are led by their tackle, Sophomore Gerald McCoy. This kid is the second coming of Glenn Dorsey. He can play! He leads a defensive line that is the best in their conference. I don’t think any team in the country will be able to run against this defense. They annually are one of the best defenses statistically, and this year will prove more of the same.

This team is a solid wager each week because of their consistency. Their offensive and defensive lines are outstanding. With Bradford leading the way, i see 11-1 as a distinct possibility. They will be in the title hunt all year long, but i see them falling just short. A solid season awaits them, and i have them at #4 in my college rankings.
