The Clemson Tigers might just be my favorite team in College Football this year. I already have a FUTURE on this team playing for the BCS National Championship. In my opinion, this team is the CLASS of the ACC. They return 14 starters this year, they can run the ball with the best of them, and they have a fairly easy schedule. What’s not to like??

Offensively, this team can RUN. Their rushing offense is OUTSTANDING. They have 2 running backs, who can take it to the house every time. James Davis and C.J. Spiller are crazy good. I love starting my Saturday mornings watching these two break off huge touchdown runs. It happens game in and game out. Get used to more of the same this year. Many experts think that their skill positions are the best in the country. They are loaded at QB, RB, and WR. They are coming off a school record for total points last year, and they will pass that total this year.

For all the talk about the offense, the defense of Clemson is just as good. They finished the year ranked #9 in total defense. They return their nucleus, and will be back for more this year. Their linebacking core and secondary are unstoppable. Chris Chancellor and Michael Hamlin are two ballhawking secondary players. They just know to ATTACK. They lead an aggresive team, always looking for the big play. More often than not, they get it done. This side of the ball will be just as good as their much more heralded offense.

I believe Clemson has as good a chance as any to play in the BCS Title Game. As mentioned, i have a future bet on them already. They have DARKHORSE written all over them. This team has no weaknesses. From a betting standpoint, take them week in and week out. It starts week 1 against Alabama, who they will CRUSH. The Clemson Tigers are my #7 team in the country.
