Bobsled Runners

I own it and I love it.

The runners on a Bobsled are like the shoes to an elite runner, they make the difference. After a race the runners are taken off the Bobsled and transported separately to protect them from rust and damage. Mike used to grab whatever packaging he could find and duct tape it closed when shipping his runners. Three years ago he got a Pelican Gun Case with custom foam inserts. This case has been all over the world for three seasons and is undamaged. Since the runners weigh 55# the wheels on the case aid in his getting through airports along with his other luggage.
