Bake goods with good gloves

I own it and I love it.

My name is Patty. I’ve got to tell all you bakers out there about my little secret. Actually, it’s not a secret anymore because I’ve inspired all of my girlfriends to use my little trick. My husband is in the army. We live in a tiny town here in Missouri. I am a new mother and have recently found baking to be very therapeutic and relaxing. I make pies, cranberry, blueberry, strawberry, every berry you can think of. When we have to say goodbye, Jim always tells me that he’ll be back for that pie.

One day, the day after he got back, I spent the morning doing laundry and kneading dough. Jim was back and I made him a very special pie that was just about ready. But the oven glove was in the wash along with the kitchen towels and the tablecloth. I saw Jim’s gloves on top of his sack in the hallway. I ran over, put them on and pulled out the pie. They were really comfortable, I held the tin in my fingers and didn’t feel any heat, I was amazed. I preferred these over my old oven mit which makes me feel like a gingerbread cookie with one giant thumb and four fingers stuck together. Jim starts laughing at me while I’m standing there holding this pie with his army gloves on. They’re the ones he uses out in the field when he’s away. I told him I’m keeping these and he’ll just have to survive.

Jim took the digital camera with him overseas, but I’ll try to have one of my girlfriends get a picture I can post soon.

Posting plogs

To post a plog, head over to the catalog in the trading post and find a product. You will see a POST A PLOG link in the plog tab of every product.

OR while reading a plog you can add a plog to the same product from that page.

About Plogs

Plogs are just like posts but they serve a single purpose. While Trader Dan will talk about anything he really wants to hear how you use the products we sell. We don't care if you bought it from us or not. Just post a little history of how you like the product, where and how you use it, and if ya like tell other people whether you think they should buy it or recommend something else. Oh and don't forget to post a picture of you using your product.

Plogs also tell if the person who wrote the plog owns it, uses it (like at work or borrowed from a friend), or if they just want it and whether they love it, like it, or hate it.

Trader Dan created plogs so that the community could help give useful advice to each other on the products we carry at CoTradeCo, but really Trader Dan wants to hear your cool posts about how you use the stuff.

And don't forget the picture.
