Hello everybody. This is Dan Goodwin, one of the owners who operates the Philadelphia Water Ice location in Corolla, North Carolina. We’re closed for the winter but will return in May 2009.

In the meantime we are going to be spending some time around the trading post getting to know folks, sharing information about water ice (how good it is!), and working with Trader Dan to get our menu and location for the Philadelphia Water Ice Factory- the BEST and ONLY place to get great water ice in North Carolina :)
We look forward to serving you up some scrumptious water ice if you are visiting the Outer Banks in North Carolina next summar and otherwise chatting with you on the COTRADECO web site in the days ahead.
Besides scooping water ice for folks in the summer, I am an attorney and look forward to sharing and discussing that part of my life with you as well.
I would love to answer any questions. Post questions and comments to the community blog, to my SPOT, or send me a private message.
Thanks for coming by. Talk to you soon.

Right now it is rainy and the beginning of winter so very few tourists are visiting the Outer Banks (near Kitty Hawk) in North Carolina. We will be reopening in the spring with lot’s of promotions and great new flavors of Philadelphia Water Ice. In the meantime we will be teasing you with our great menu items.
